What Kind Of Internet Connection Do I Need?

Modified on Tue, 18 Mar at 6:31 PM

Our live video streams use adaptive streaming technology, which automatically adjusts video quality based on your internet speed. We currently deliver video at bitrates ranging from 400 Kbps to 4,500 Kbps (4.5 Mbps).

Recommended Internet Speeds:

  • Standard Streaming (Mobile, Laptop, or Tablet) → At least 5 Mbps download speed for smooth playback.

  • HD Streaming on a Large Screen (TV, Chromecast, AirPlay, or HDMI) → At least 10 Mbps for a stable and high-quality experience.

  • 4K Streaming (if available) → At least 25 Mbps for the best performance.

Best Practices for a Reliable Streaming Experience:

✔ Use a wired (Ethernet) or strong Wi-Fi connection whenever possible.
 ✔
Avoid shared/public Wi-Fi hotspots, as network congestion can cause buffering.
 ✔
Streaming over mobile data (4G/5G) consumes significant bandwidth, which may impact your data plan.
 ✔
If experiencing buffering, try reducing the number of devices using the network or restarting your router.

For the best experience, we recommend testing your internet speed before streaming using a service like Speedtest.
